Hari Ramalu Ragavan
Dr. Hari Ramalu Ragavan is a sustainable development expert with over 30 years of experience in research, teaching, and consulting across Asia Pacific. A former Programme Manager at UNDP Malaysia, he led and managed more than 15 projects valued at USD 50 million, focusing on climate change, ecosystems management, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As Principal Consultant at AKAR ASIA Consulting, he advises leading international organizations including UNDP, ADB, World Bank, and UNEP, working with governments, communities, and the private sector. He specializes in ESG, sustainable finance, and SDG12, and holds certifications including CSAP (AA1000) and CESFi. Dr. Hari also serves on multiple regional boards and committees related to sustainability and holds advanced degrees from Sweden and the UK.
